Pewter
is a traditional material, which has been used extensively in Britain for many
centuries to create
a wide variety of objects. In Mediaeval times tableware ( tankards and plates
etc) was commonly made of pewter, and over the years everything from
candlesticks to tea sets has been made from this versatile and attractive
material.
Today
pewter is still used to make decorative objects and we are pleased to bring you
this range of beautiful pewter pins. These quality pins have fine detailing and
capture in a naturalistic way the character of the subjects depicted.
Each
pin has a spike fastening on the back. The pins can be worn as a brooch or hat
pin, fastened as an accessory on a handbag, or used in craft projects etc. The
pins are all made in the U.K.
