A collection of old sewing accessories. Includes five old wooden spools of thread,  five bone crochet hooks and a tool for making holes. There is also a wooden darning tool. ( you put the material to be mended over the top of this piece and the little pins hold it in place for ease of working). The red darning mushroom has been altered to make it into a French knitting tool. ( children used to do French knitting as a hobby. They made a long strip of 'knitting' by  plaiting wool around the pins at the top and threaded it through a hole in the mushroom).
