This sweet pincushion has a design of
a ring of forget-me-nots, a familiar garden flower in English gardens, blooming
in April. The design comes from an English needlework magazine from the
1930's.
The pincushion has been stitched in 10 Count Canvas on
fabric canvas in tent stitch. The design would
also make a delightful motif to work in cross stitch onto a handkerchief or
other linens.
The pincushion is almost a square and
measures approximately 10cm (4
inches) along each side.
